WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

​

Prior to treatment Robyn will take a detailed history of your pet. Following this a thorough assessment of your animal will take place, this will include both a static and dynamic assessment. Robyn will observe your dog in motion, will palpate the dog and then assess range of motion. 

​

Treatment will include a selection of treatment modalities utilised specifically to your animals needs.

​

Following treatment Robyn will prescribe you and your dog with an at-home exercise plan and may suggest follow up treatments according to you are your dogs needs.

DOES MY DOG NEED PHYSIOTHERAPY?

All dogs regardless of age, lifestyle or job can benefit from veterinary physiotherapy.

​

Veterinary physiotherapy of the canine patient can be varied, with treatment for maintenance purposes; keeping a dog comfortable, fit and functioning, or treatment of chronic conditions, sudden injuries or post-surgery.
